Long before Green Energy was popularized, a team of young superheroes decided to start spreading the word about switching to more sustainable electricity and transportation. We traveled around the United States in a school bus powered by used cooking oil, spreading our Green Energy Solutions message. Our journey began with community activism and lecturing at schools, from early elementary to universities.

Before it became a buzz word on tv and a focus of national politics we spoke about climate change and peak oil. We taught about biofuels and the promises of renewable and cleaner energy sources. Presentations at Earth Day events and to local political and environmental groups, and interviews with newspapers, radio, and tv introduced the idea that there are other sources of energy out there - available today!

Changing Energy Around the World

After years of hands on experience with biofuels it was a natural step to merge our mission of education with our goal of green energy adoption. We doubled down on research and connected to the best alternative energy technology. This resulted in adding 200 new solutions to the lineup and new technical expertise to our support team. Now more than ever Organic Mechanic is working to empower people with the information and technology to switch to more economical and ecological energy.

Handfuls of alternative energy companies may have popped up overnight when the government pumped billions into green initiatives.
